Export-oriented businesses require comprehensive information to be optimally positioned in their target markets. Thus adelphi and enviacon are assisting the Renewable Energies Export Initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) by informing them on foreign markets.
Through the Renewable Energies Export Initiative, the BMWi helps medium-sized German enterprises to export renewable energy technologies and enter into foreign markets. The goal is to advertise Germany’s know-how internationally and increase the market potential for German technologies abroad. To this end, the Export Initiative collects comprehensive information on the respective legal and economic conditions in target markets and helps to establish networks with the important decision-makers in these markets.
Market information for export-oriented businesses in Germany
Against this backdrop, adelphi and enviacon are creating detailed country profiles and fact sheets on international markets for renewable energy, as well as helping the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad to conduct target market analyses. In addition, a comprehensive global market analysis will be prepared, which will allow the BWMi to determine the growth potential and opportunities for German businesses, and will thus serve as a foundation for the BMWi for deciding on the Export Initiative’s future projects. Moreover, both partners are responsible for organising conference events and for overseeing the Export Initiative’s foreign communications, including information distribution and social media.
The Renewable Energies Export Initiative was brought about in 2002 following a resolution by the German Parliament. It has since been operated and financed by the BMWi and been put into action through the help of countless partners both nationally and internationally.
